My passion for makeup was realized long before I was given permission to wear it. I spent hours sitting on the bathroom counter watching my mother get ready, and soon discovered my love for glamour. For years I admired old Hollywood movie stars and honed my talents, at the expense of my little brother, with forced beauty sessions. In the years that followed, I began to study theatre and music and found that perhaps my skills could be better utilized on more willing participants. I learned the magic of creating characters as well as the true power that makeup can have in transforming someone in front of an audience. As I went on to pursue my degree in the Theatre Arts from Temple University, my love of everything creative only grew more. My imagination and passion for makeup artistry continued as I pursued my acting career in cities such as Philadelphia, Rome, Los Angeles, and now...New York. I learned how to transition from dramatic theatrical looks for stage, to more natural beauty for film and television. I learned the importance of lighting and knowing how to work with a photographer to achieve that special moment.

Whether working in a studio or for a special event, I find it a privilege to be a part of someone’s most special day and approach all of my clients with the same excitement and personal attention that I would seek myself. I know how important it is to bring positivity and enthusiasm to the table, while still being a calming influence during the hustle and bustle of a wedding day or on set.

I strive daily to challenge myself, and believe that continuously learning is the only way to grow as an artist in this ever-changing beauty industry. I pride myself on identifying every client’s best features, and focusing on how I can enhance their natural beauty. Though I don’t shy away from giving my opinion on what I believe will work best, I know how important it is to listen. I encourage my client’s ideas and interaction, and work closely with each person to achieve the ultimate vision for their look. Treating each client with this individual attention is what helps me to achieve the most beautiful and confident version of themselves...which is always my goal. Much like being on stage and knowing the thrill of a pleased audience, my favorite part about being a makeup artist is seeing my client’s reaction when they see themselves in the mirror. Having a positive impact on someone. Getting them excited. Giving them that complete feeling of joy. There’s just nothing like it!

Now living in Westchester, NY, my latest adventures (marriage and motherhood) have led me down this path to entrepreneurship. Being able to combine my love of family with my love of being an artist has been a true blessing, and I am grateful for the opportunity everyday.
